Wattle Paediatrics Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based practice providing family-centred health and wellness services for children and young people. We take the time to understand each child — their strengths, their challenges, and the goals that matter most to your family.
Our story
Wattle Paediatrics began with a simple observation: too many families were waiting a long time for clear answers, and leaving appointments with more questions than strategies. Our founders — experienced paediatric clinicians — wanted to build a different kind of practice. One with unhurried appointments, plain-language feedback, and practical recommendations families can actually use at home, at kindergarten or school, and out in the community.
Everything we do starts with listening. Before we ever suggest a plan, we want to understand your child's daily life: what a good morning looks like, what makes mealtimes tricky, what helps them settle at night, and what success would mean for your family — not just on paper, but in real, everyday moments.
Why the wattle?
Our name comes from the golden wattle, Australia's national floral emblem. Wattle weathers tough conditions, puts down roots almost anywhere, and bursts into bloom at the turn of the season — a natural symbol of resilience, renewal and new growth. Those are exactly the qualities we see in the children we support, and the qualities we work to nurture in every session.

We provide paediatric health and wellness services across Melbourne VIC, supporting children from early development and school readiness through to emotional regulation, communication, participation and everyday independence. Wherever your family is on the journey, we meet you there.
